So I picked up a ecc4 due to the 5 and 6 being out of my budget, but I'm interested in hearing from other ecc4 owners on what they like, dislike, what to look out for, what they have changed etc, so if you own one please reach out as I also have some questions on stuff.

I have the MXC4. Slightly more Trail than Enduro. Pretty well set up from factory I would say. Tires are highly popular as the go-to options for many riders from what I have seen, so I just grabbed a Muc-off tubless kit and converted. The AXS app works great and so does the RockShox traihead app for doing basic suspension set-up. AXS app makes mode customization super easy, and helps make reasonable use of only 2 drive modes.

I have 300km on it and it has been trouble free. There are several horror stories on the Brose motor, so I am just trying to put as many miles on it as I can to flush out any reliability issues. Seeing about a 3,000-3,500 ft vertical or about 45-50 trail miles out of a single charge IF you put in a bit effort.

I had my front brake pads glaze on me once, but was able to remove and sand them and re-bed. I suspect I will be upgrading to metallic pads at some point.

Thanks for your reply, I haven't heard of the apps before so will definitely give them a go, im guessing our motors are different mine is the sram

Ah yes I get you now, I can't wait to hit the trails on mine
I bought the ECC6 on runout a few months back for an absolute steal, couldn't pass it up....the bike is super highly spec'd from the factory, only thing I have changed out is the dropper & saddle. Came with a 125mm AXS wireless dropper, changed to a 175mm AXS. I have changed the saddle to an Ergon SM-10 but that's just personal preference...the Fizik saddle it came with looks awesome but probably would've been more at home on an XC bike so I basically just removed the AXS dropper & saddle and swapped them out. They'll sit, new, in my parts box until it's time to sell this bike but I have no intention of moving this bike on anytime soon as it's incredible.

It came with DD Maxxis DHR & EXO+ Assegai so tyres are pretty much bang on for the intended use of the bike. Can't fault the bike so far....Auto shift & coast shift are very cool, love the wireless setup, super clean cockpit. The DVO suspension is next level...I love the RS Zeb & Super deluxe coil which I had on my last emtb but this DVO gear is on a whole other level, super plush but so controlled & supportive. I may go a slightly heavier coil but that's about it.

My ECC6 so far so good 👍
