I damaged the bike a bit leaving it in the winter weather for six months. It's all sorted now - but want to keep it safe.

Looking for any sort of flat packed, easily delivered thing I can get through my house and into my yard? Does not have to be pretty, vertical or horizontal!

Are you serious? Hopefully you’re not going to jail. 😉

I wonder if a bike-travel-bag might help. There could be a few options out there.

Had a bag! and a stand, kept blowing off and getting all crappy so I wanted something more sturdy!

I thought some of the Bike-Bags are waterproof. Maybe the front wheel has to be removed. The bag could be modified to suit your storage situation. (Stand etc.)

I’ve seen some members post pics of their bike in a 3’x3’ shower stall …I think his name starts with @Zimmerframe

yeah some people might get on with them, I really don't, I tried like 3 and they just aren't for me so solid shed is the way to go

If security isn’t a big issue …those plastic garden sheds are ok 👍🏻.
Different sizes available. I had a large one once. Decent floor, French doors, double thick walls. Doesn’t rot and keeps things dry.

Not worried in the slightest about security no, it's sat out there in the open right now but nobody can see into the garden

Do you have any links for anything that fits by any chance?

I can’t remember the manufacturer or model of shed I used …but they’re not cheap ($$$). Some members may have experience with Travel-Bags for airlines etc.

My little shed came as a kit/pack and needed assembly …not the IKEA type of assembly.

Was big enough to stick the ATV in there and some garden tools on the sides.

Not sure if a 6ft one is long enough for your bike wheelbase?

These come flat packed if I remember rightly.

Amazon seem to have many similar plastic sheds for similar cash.

Asgard make good products, but a little bit more than your budget at circa 700/800

I have one of these that I stored an analogue spare bike in for years - it also had various other things that needed to be kept dry for a long time.
They're easy to build and work perfectly.

Hi,
We have a shed & a box made by Biohort for 10 year outside, still looking like first day. Delivery is flat box that can be handled through a house. It is above the mentioned budget but quality is excellent. Here there offers for bikes but they have other options for „garden storage“: In summer time you can use the shed as a sauna 😉.

PS: Don‘t ask me why the link of GB website shows France with in french language here. 🤷 And why GB prices are much higher than EU mainland.

Do you think an XXL bike would fit in yours at an angle? the length is 10cm longer than the width of these boxes :)

I've got one of these...
It was bought to keep bikes in, but my wife filled it with kids toys and patio furniture cushions. At least all the junk in it is secure 🤷‍♂️

It's been outside bolted to my patio for about 10 years now. The dark brown finish has faded a bit like a red Vauxhall car in Spain, but it's still structurally sound.

Tri metals bike sheds are worth a look. We have had ours for a few years now. Brilliant

You might also want to consider the humidity within the shed and condensation on the bike. A small space heater would mitigate the risk, as well as a couple drop lights with incandescent bulbs.
