From ordering to riding a Giant 2021 Ebike?

Some weeks back i put a deposit down to order from my LBS a small 2021 LIV Intrigue X E + 3.
His screen was saying it should get there week 22. I read from many brands including Giant
that expected delivery dates are pushed back ounce or twice.
Should i just wait to get an email from my LBS?
Should i get in contact to know if the date is still good?
If you are not familiar it is the woman version of the Trance.
I am in Canada.
Any sharing of your experience is welcome.

My Giant came 2 months early so hang on in there......and keep in contact with the LBS.

To hit wk21, I'd estimate them to be leaving port wk 15-16, so pretty much now. I'd probably leave it 10 days, then call the LBS. If Giant has the container on the boat by then, they'd have a reasonably concrete ETA to share. And if it's not left by that point, you'd at least know that it's going to be delayed.

In Canada our retailer has a delivery date, what is yours?
I put a downpayment on my 2021 at the end of february and the arrival
at my LBS was expected week 22. I checked last monday, no change.
They will call me if they get different info from Giant but usualy they get
here as predicted or 2 weeks later at worst.

Belgium - Ordering the bike in october 2020 they warned me that it would take at least 'till may 2021, now it's june.
