When I stop peddling my chainring is turning, it never used to do this and I wondered if it might be the motor bearings slowly giving up?? motor has done around 1000 miles.

it’s not a massive issue but I could become one if it’s the motor bearings, also is it taking power from the battery to do this?

The only other thing I think it could be is cassette which is an e13 one, I have had this in bits and tried cleaning it out, tried greasing it etc... It seems to be spinning freely so don’t thinks it’s that.

Anyone had similar issues??

I had that issue I had to take the E13 hub apart, clean everything as it was filled up with mud and grit. Check the bearing is ok then grease and put back on. These E13 hubs are known to be bad and have to take apart, clean and re-grease from time to time.

Shim missing out of the hub assembly, 0.5mm so when I tightened the wheel axle it was locking up the free hub. These e13 HUD’s are temperamental as f**k!
