Frame bearing change HELP!

Hi all,

Have a 2021 vitus e-sommet which I am trying to carry out frame bearing replacement on. I have the rapid race products extraction tools however I’m unable to remove the double bearings from the shock linkage, the double bearings from lower rear linkage. Am I missing a trick or are they just stuck In the frame?

Also what tool do I need to remove the bearings from the lower frame linkage? Do I need a bearing puller?

Yes, you need a bearing extractor. The double bearings in the shock linkage are divided in the centre by an internal flange (not visible) so you have to extract them. you can use something like this Small Blind Bearing Extractor, Puller, Remover Tool 8mm 10mm 12mm 15mm 17mm 20mm | eBay
