Afternoon. I’m sure I’ve seen some photos on here of a handy little pack that fits perfectly in the triangle between the top tube and down tube on the Rise. Can’t find them now though using the search function

Anyone know the make & model of the bag ? Thanks

that would be my bike. The frame bag is made by evoc. I've confirmed that the small size bag fits perfectly in Large and XL sized frames. It fits in the medium too but it's a bit tight. I'm running the medium size evoc bag on my xl frame and it's a tight fit, but wedges in there alright.

perfect thanks, my frame is large so the small frame bag will fit just right 👍🏼

Another option to mention is the Dakine Gripper. Fits a tube, tire lever, small multi tool and two 20 g air cartridges.

Also frame bag by Blackburn however some of straps a little short for the bigger down tube of the Rise I had extra straps

Really liked this one, and I really need a place to store some stuff + my phone, but the small size seems to be sold out.
Do you have a photo of the medium size on a XL frame?
Also, how well made the strips are? Do they leave a mark or tiny scratches on the paint?

I have a medium bag due to arrive soon. I will see if it fits my large frame and will post my findings. If too big, I will return and get the small. I'll also try to get a feel how effective the clear strips will be.

I bought the small Evoc bag and it does indeed fit perfectly into the frame triangle on my large Rise

the bag is very small, just fits an inner tube, multi tool, tyre levers, brake pads, with a small gap left for perhaps a Cadbury’s Crème Egg 😀

it certainly won’t fit my phone (iPhone 13)

I do want to have my phone with me, just in case...
I dont need it on my handlebar since I use almost exclusively my garmin watch as tracking/navigating, but you know, stuff happen and garmin still has no cellular options :)

Ive just tried to squeeze my phone in by removing the inner tube , it still doesn’t fit. I think you’ll be needing a medium size and I’ll be keeping my phone in my pocket!

Below is the only photo I have of it handy on the XL. I'll take a better one when I get home from work tonight. Regarding the fit, it's very tight and ends up resting against the shock a tiny bit, but I may be able to adjust that out. It doesn't quite wedge into the triangle between the top/downtube as that tapers to a pretty narrow angle. The straps are good quality for sure, no issues with them coming apart, or the bag moving around. For reference, my bike has a fox float X and that is a 26oz water bottle in the rise battery extender bottle cage.

Regarding the paint... Orbea's paint is incredibly thin. I have my frame basically wrapped with full frame protection. Initially, I just did the bottom of the downtube, but I was blasting the paint off with rock strikes. Using a frame bag like this without protection under the straps, would for example wear the "Orbea" lettering off of the downtube in a matter of months in my opinion. For what it's worth, I ride in an incredibly dusty and rocky environment (american southwest). I won't even speculate what sort of wear you'd see in comparison as we have only had about 15 days of rain in 3 years.

I received the medium bag and it is too big for my large frame. I could cram it into the triangle but it deforms and can't be opened or closed while mounted. The dimensions listed when I ordered seemed a perfect fit but in actuality it was about 1cm bigger in length and width than the description. Back it goes, and I will order the small (which is $10 more than the medium for some reason) 😛

PS. Mine did not come with clear strips.

Used my bag (small bag large frame) today

looks a bit dicky but it holds all the trail essentials plus a couple of snacks (took the inner tube out as I run tubeless and it seemed a bit pointless)

don’t notice it’s there once riding. Had an OTB too (again) and it stayed in place with just the two Velcro straps

Do you think you can wedge a medium into a Large frame?

my buddy has a large h-series that he is bringing over for me to install a cascade link for him. I'm supposed to do that thursday... I'll try out the fit and report back.
Thanks!, I'd appreciate that. Just installed the Cascade link as well. Similar to you I run a DHX2 8.5x2.5 w/ 1 offset bushing but full 29er.

I ended up buying it off Amazon and it didn't fit. Returning it to try the WP version with the side zipper to see if that fits...seems abit smaller. If not, I'll stick to my Dakine Gripper.

Tried some of these bags and between my '24 Rise H10 being alloy and a medium, none of them worked.

This is my solution for carrying more than what already fitted in my OneUp EDC 100cc Pump.

Think Rider "Saddle" bag (probably copy of the Silca Mattone, but at 1/5th the cost). Enough of the "Boa" cable tosecure it around the top or the bottom tube. Fits TPU tube, small missing link pliers, extra missing links, CO2 and tubeless plugs. Lots of room to fit a multitool and other things ontop of the above - for those that do not have them integrated in their pump as I did.

Have you modified damper? What is it? Nice front mudguard. Do you have something reliable for the rear wheel?

By damper do you mean the shock? The rear shock is a Fox Factory DHX with a Sprindex coil, leveraging a Cascade Link (installed after this pic was take).

The fork is a Fox 36 Perf. Elite GRIP 2 @ 160mm and the front fender is the Fox's own 38/36 Direct mount "XL" fender. On the rear I use a plastic "chinesium" black injection molded fender, zip-tied to the top of the upper rear triangle arms / "would-be-seat-stays".
