Fox float x genie doing the lsc mod

Hi all have a gen 4 Levo and interested in doing the lsc float x mod on the genie shock. Just wondering if the ‘genie‘ part will prevent this from being done, seems a great little mod for the £30 cost to add some low speed support.
I've Seen threads referencing the mod on conventional floats, I’ve not seen it done on the specific genie versions of the float x.

Thanks, sorry I might not have explained it. I’m more interested in anyone’s experience specifically of doing g the mod on a fox float genie as the shock is t a standard float x - it does however have that plastic cap and therefore I believe will be the same procedure- it’s just what effect it will have if any.

I personally can't feel any difference..... but im not that sensitive to suspension setup.

For anyone searching this and finding it,

fitted the compression dial, I personally can tell a difference between fully open and fully closed, factory seems to be bang in the middle and to be honest I’ve settled nearly back there adjusting a bit more if it’s a smoother surface and a bit less if rocky. Haply with the cheap ‘upgrade’ just be careful when installing not to lose the teeny springs or balls as I lost a spring and had to hunt around for something to replace it. Ended up winding my own with some very fine wire (the other two are doing the heavy lifting and this one’s really just holding the ball bearing decent)
