Hello,
I got a 2026 Mondraker Crafty with Fox Float X Factory EVOL shock. I am trying to set the sag to 25-30% but the required pressure seems high. I am about 110kg with all the gear.
Based on the manual, I should start with the pressure equal to weight in lbs so around 245-250psi. If I put 250psi into the shock, sag is 50%. If I pump to 300psi, sag is around 40%. Max pressure is 350psi.
When pressuring the shock, I set low speed rebound to 0 and lever to open position. I also press the shock few times every 50psi to equalize the pressure.

Does it look ok to you or am I missing something and the pressure should be 300psi +?

Thanks in advance
Peter

I'm running 215 PSI in my 26 crafty, but I weigh about 80kg kitted out.

Someone on here will know, (Ask Greg) but I'm pretty sure that you can add spoacers to the Fox shock. That will be beneficial to you as a larger rider (you won't keep using uo all your travel), but it may also help with the pressure at the sag point.

If your shock is the same basic construction as the Fox shock that I did, then its definitely a simple DIY job as long as you are working in a clean environment, ie your garage, not trailside.

Interesting how many sag are you running? im 95kg all kitted out and am on 215 psi also but im at 30% sag
About 28% .
Perhaps you have air stuck on the wrong side of the piston!
Let all the air out and keep on bouncing on the bike as you fill it back up.
There is a proper procedure, but can't remember exactly what it is 🤔

280 sounds about right. I have the specialized genie version of the same shock. I am 95kg fully kitted and run at 270psi at 30%. Specialized has a shock pressure calculator for the genie shock. Basically the same shock with a larger air chamber. Just Google specialized suspension calculator. For your weight it says 308psi rear, 105psi front (I used the levo 4 turbo comp bike model as that is what I have). 3 clicks from full closed read rebound, 1 click from full closed front rebound
