Just remember that some people have partnership with some brands so they are biased, some also put some content misaligned with other to make views. In any case, Alex showed and mentioned that he is closed to Bosch.

Now we are also no equal to what we want. Some people want to cruise with little effort due to countless reason (wish, joy, health ...), so how the power is delivered can satisfy some, some not but in all case you can do tuning so this is not totally a fair review we got here. On all my ebike I do tunning ...

Forbidden are excellent bikes, in the end some people also don't care much about uphills and wants DH where the motor disappear, my case, would definitely take one if it has longer travel!

You don't buy a eDruid to roam in mellow stuff and earn uphill, high pivot drag you down and it is just not great as on an analog, you buy it to go straight up and do DH.

I’m from Siegen and ordered mine through a friend … has a bikeshop near hachenburg (Zweiradsport ebener). He received 3 from 6 ordered I think.
I ordered mine 2.5 months ago.. Just hoping i am lucky AS well. Sold the other E-Bike already 😄

When did you put your order in?
Actually the second my LBS got the info that forbidden is gonna bring a bike with DJI and showed me some drawings of it on his computer. Guess it was December/January. I spend 3 weeks on his personal Amflow as a commuting bike in winter and was amazed (that’s why I don’t get the latest tone in the reviews). I really was blown away by the electronics and the way it rides. Just a fun system … except that I wanted a bike more capable. Oh I had different bikes before and the latest was an Orbea Rise. Nice Bike but I wanted something more ..

Talked to my bike shop, apparently they will only get one bike per size. I’m number 2 in line for S2 Core so he said I’ll only get a bike if the first person decides not to buy it.

The bike looks great but the limited stock sucks. When I could order an Amflow today. :/

Thanks. I’m really curious how it will be in the end. Right now we are changingig some minor things. Didn’t like the wheelset and the brakes on the stock bike. (The limited mavens are a perfect match colorwise!). Also some Schwalbe tires and a little OneUp stuff.
Just thinking about changing the sram eagle 90 - would you guys go for an AXS GX or stay with the cable shift?

I did not care for the Eagle 90 shifter on my MTe and found that SRAM has an Upgrade Kit to wireless shifting. I was able to find one at 20% off so under $500. Very straightforward to install and came with the AXS Rocker shifter which I much prefer to the 2-Button. You use the Cage portion from the 90 and bolts right up.

Really curious to read some real world testing on the eDruid. Bike looks amazing

Go the AXS GX Upgrade. It will give you Coast shifting and Chain Protection. I use coast shifting all the time. Super handy to be able to shift without pedalling.
You will need the hardwire that plugs to motor and eliminates the derailleur battery. Tricky to find and kind of spendy but gives you all the functions. The SRAM Powertrain is the correct wire I believe and comes in 2 lengths.

And for everybody who ordered: rejoice! 😀 I was impressed by the overall quality and the love to detail - fantastic job, forbidden
Nice man!! Kinda jealous, but as I said.. I already own 2 forbidden bikes.. and "Vorfreude ist die schönste Freunde" ;) I ordered the T3 trim as well. How do all the rebranded contact points by forbidden feel? I actually like the idea of having grips/saddle and handbars by forbidden lol :)
The teal coloured mavens on the floor will match extremely well.. holy cow!! My local bikeshop where I ordered just 3 bikes come in in S3 and S2.. now S4s or even S1s..
Would you mind sharing some pictures of the T3 model for all the contact points? btw Ridewrap already has some protection foil available for the bike!

Thanks for your thoughts about the axs. As my bike is my daily driver to work (and a weekend warrior) I have some trouble thinking about Winter and not fully loaded AXS batteries and such stuff. You are right @Larsey : you will need the motor wiring to benefit from the software features.
This cable makes the switch to AXS pretty expensive: I think 145€ at least. (That’s the cheapest I found).

Concerning the mavens: the color fits very well! The contact points: well - the saddle seems to be great. Grips: ODI are my go tos so I am not gonna keep them. If you are interested: just write me! 🙂
Sorry I don’t have any access to the bike since it is in „rebuilding process“. 😉
And yes: „Vorfreude“ was the best this time! Was never so excited about a new bike!

Has anybody wondered why forbidden specs 150mm cranks on the core and 155mm on the lite?

Well, here are some pictures. As it is my everyday commuter (and also through wet German weather) I am always searching for week design points or Maybe issues like badly positioned battery ports or mud-puddle-keeper.
So far nothing negative .. only under the main pivot and above the motor is a nice „storage“ for some dirt and loam. I think I‘m gonna fill the space with some moto foam.

can you take a photo of the rear tire clearance chainstay and seatstay?

Hey. You can see the tire clearance in the first two pictures I sent .. the seatstays looks like they would be ready for 29 inch. The chainstays offer less room, but enough for a little mud.

Judging by all the spec on the 2026 bikes coming out my Core one will be out of date by the time it arrives

Yes… that might be right. The issue is: you never know when to expect certain „news“ - so you can always get outdated stuff. I heard that even SRAM is keeping dates and upcoming releases a secret to the dealers .. so you never know.
F.e. The ZEB seems an old fork when I will receive the bike. On the other hand it is a proven fork - I saw a video about the Fox podium and some oil-leaking issues. „New“ is not always best (that’s what I keep telling myself 😂)

One of my riding buddy's podium fork is weeping oil out of the air chamber side after about half a dozen rides.
