Newbie alert!
Well I picked up my Levo yesterday from the Spec Store in Newbury who were really helpful and answered loads of my questions. The Bike was in stock luckily so was able to ride it and test it etc. Today I read the post that Lenny put up about his first ride and I contacted him as we live close by to each other and we went out for a ride this morning, Great to have some one so local!
First impressions were much the same as Lenny! I have never ridden a 29er and for me I feel I need a bit of time to get used to it! I’m used to 27.5 and whilst I am big ish built I’m not that tall so it felt a little larger than my Whyte. Did some routes I hadn’t done so probably not a good comparison but great fun! Think I will also need a dropper seat post as well! I did most of the ride in Trail mode and we did about 33km and I had 42% battery left.
The assistance from the motor was
Brilliant and compared to the Trek I tested so much quieter, less drag and also neater looking. I love the top tube integration of the controls. I did have a garmin 1030 linked to the bike but can see me taking it off as it really isn’t needed!
Didn’t like the saddle and that has now been swapped out for another Prologo which I find comfortable.
Overall I loved the first ride and just hope I can gain some confidence as I think I was cautious with not knowing how it would handle.
Thanks Lenny for the company and patience!
