I’ve been quite downhearted of late since selling off the last of my push bikes,a decent spec’d rarely used pristine Orange four.
I’ve reminisced many a time of late of what I’ve owned and regretfully moved on but have now finally made my peace with the past after my most recent ride with my emtb.
Being able to enjoy EVERY ride again whether uphill or downhill for me is priceless and goes a long way to forgetting the hard slogs of rides gone by.
As technology is progressing at a frightening pace rendering today’s “new” into next months “old” I wonder where will it end?
Just buy, ride, enjoy and to hell with what’s gone before.

I'm in the same position, i need to sell my analogue road mtb hybrid, a great bike.

But the hardest cut will be selling my wifes bike, we spent so many days riding through the alps together, pure joy, making eggs and coffee at the top of a pass, the bikes serving as a wind or sun shelter, but now, all thats gone, never to return.

it hurts every day, still.
