Update.
Sorted and ridden today. If they are inflated tomorrow morning, its a success.

Took my time to thoroughly clean the rims and apply the tape. Muc-Off valves were great and used different tyre levels.

Just to add - I had a thread about this recently too.. and a few other Alex EX30 owners chipped in
They are nightmare wheels to tape up, like fully horrendous

I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that whenever you retape them and fit new tyres they will leak air overnight and go flat but after a ride and they've had chance to fill every hole with gunk that you'll hate removing, they're fine
