I've got an Evoc FR trail blackline back pack and the 625wh battery fits in that, probably a similar size to the E ride...
 
I don’t know if it will fit in a 12L. I have 20L Evoc Fr Trail E-Ride, that is purpose made to take a 500/625 battery and it’s pretty snug

How comfortable is the bag pack with the battery in, I know the battery is heavy plus the stuff you need for an all day ride, what sort of weight are you looking at ?

It is comfortable, but it’s about 10kg with battery 2L water, snacks and tools etc so I certainly know I’m wearing it
For me it’s worth it for the extra range as 40-50km is all I get on a single well used 500w
 
Don't know if it's of any interest, but I have a 20 l Evoc FR Trail E-Ride Protector Backpack AW19 that I don't need any more. Had a Shimano bike with two batteries, but it's gone and I don't have a spare battery any more. Would be open to offers.
 
I've got the FR trail 20l with battery pouch.

It just about fits a 504w Kenevo battery, but as said earlier it carries the weight so well, you hardly realise how much you're carrying until you take it off
