EST520 Tyre choice

Hey guys

Looking at changing the tyres on my Wifes ST520 ( that i havent received yet )

We will be riding normally on dirt tracks ( dryish and possible shingly)

Maxxiss Ardent or magic mary

Would i be right in ordering a 2.4 or 2.5 section?

Any help would be appreciated.

You asked 2.4 or 2.5, I said go narrow and I meant go for the 2.4.
The benefit of narrower tyres that are less knobbly and less sticky is lower rolling resistance, which will come in handy on the trails you have described. Higher tyre pressures will reduce the rolling resistance as well, but at the risk of a harsher ride. Once you have the tyres, experiment with tyre pressures to find the pressures you like. Expect different pressures in front and rear.
