    Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.

    Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

Hello, I may possibly have a diagnostic job for the Ebikedoktor. How can I contact him?

I am currently riding a Bosch Gen5 bike with US firmware in the 64 km/h version (half wheel diameter setting). After updating the Flow app on Monday, I was able to complete the first part of the performance update. However, even after several days and reinstalling the Flow app, the second part still does not appear, and I cannot set the 120 Nm option. HELP!!!!

What is part one and part two? Update is simply just one part..
Try to uninstall the flow app, reinstall it and pair it with the bike again
 
The update itself completed successfully, but the performance unlock has still not appeared. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and logged out and back in again.

Try clearing the app cache/memory instead of uninstalling. Worked for me 1st time.
 
In my opinion, the only way to clear the cache on an iPhone is by uninstalling the app.
 
I read that some bike manufacturers don't allow 120nm. So it depend which bike logo you see in flow app.
 
That’s difficult. I’m riding a Santa Cruz Vala, but after installing the US firmware, the logo showed a Cube bike. The guy who changed the wheel circumference to half changed it back to Santa Cruz again — at least the text.

Do you know if Santa Cruz is part of this? I have the 120 Nm but not the 600% slider.
 
Hi. I have a Trek Rail+ 9.7 and I've been running the US software for about 3 weeks now. Currently, I'm unable to install the Power Update 2.0 because the Flow App isn't offering it to me. Is it possible to set it up so that I have both the 120 Nm torque and the US speed limit? Thanks
 
The Ebike Doc solved my problem quickly and uncomplicatedly. The 120 Nm option is now available, and the Vala logo is back as well. Highly recommended!
 
Uninstalled the app went back in and updated the second part of the update, now showing 120nm and all other settings were saved - Bosch CX5

How can I get in touch with Rudi or Ebike-Doctor? I have a Bosch CX Gen 5 motor and would like the modification to 33 km/h.

I think it’s likely the people acting absurdly helpless about how to make contact are from Bosch or Bosch-adjacent, so let’s just ignore them.
 
Some people who used other peoples services, and were unlucky, got their brand identity changed or erased , might not get the 120nm update.

Same Issue here, my bike was modified by E-Bike Doctor, no update so far on my bike. E-Bike Doctor any News regarding this issue?
