Im about 6kg heavier and found the shock to be ok tbh (what did catch me out is that there are 6ish clicks from fully open to closed on the dial? I was only expecting 3 so riding it half open for the first ride). How have you found the front fox 36e? I find that really progressive and cant use full travel by about 4cm even off reasonable drops. Removed 1 token, not much better so removed the last one too.

I've not used the last couple of cm of fork travel in my first few rides with them set at 20% sag.. though they do feel very plush. I may try removing a spacer to see how it feels. The rear end just feels way more damped and less active than on my 160mm trail bike. On my trail bike I use no spacers in the shock and regularly use full travel though never noticed it bottoming out. On the vitus I''ve not yet used the last cm of shock stroke using 30% sag... plus I'm probably taking some bigger faster hits on it than ususal.

I removed all spacers from fork and shock and it feels progressive enough for me. 450km since then and not bottomed out yet. Having not done big drops or jumps though. I'm slightly less than 85kg

IME with DPX2s is they are not that progressive and benefit from the correct size Volume Spacer.

As you say your not hitting anything that would reveal it needs it but the first time it happens you'll be putting it back in :)
