dropper post

the dropper post on my stereo 140 has started to lose about 20cm after each time it put back up, I have to keep raising it up, does anyone know if this can be sorted by myself or is it a visit to the LBS

Gas pressure problem? If so whip it out and you should be able to check what pressure with a shock pump ?

Thanks mate sorted it now mate changed the cable it had frayed and come loose so just swapped it out
