I`m noticing, in some instances (usually at the most troublesome time), that there is a large lag to the power coming back that appears when changing to an easier gear. It`s about half a second to maybe max two seconds, where the drive is pretty much no existent. Gear has shifted fine and I'm just there stalling on a hill waiting for the drive to come back (damn having to use my leg muscles!)

Anyone else experiencing the same? I feel like putting in a request to Amflow to tighten up the Smoothshift when Downshifting, but if I`m the only one and its a "skill issue" then i wont waste their time!

Updates to the X0 have decreased the time to shift and maybe this update hasn`t been factored in to the smooth shift algorithm.

Chain protection enabled?
Chain protection: When shifting is detected, torque is automatically reduced to protect your drivetrain. (Enable via display manually.)

SmoothShift is another feature, with one you can shift while coasting without rotating pedals ...

Roger Wilco - maybe the Chain Protection feature then. Either way, point stands, my bike will occasionally restrict power after the gear change has happened and take a few seconds to kick back in and I`m looking to see if others are experiencing the same?

Mine does the same sometimes, not often but quite irritating when it happens. I run GX T-type.
I have another one also that I just connected to the motor so I haven’t had time to try that out yet so we will see if that one behaves the same🤷‍♂️
