I’ve got my Rail 5’s original 500wh battery (bought and use a 625) and if I can find a reasonable way to carry it I might get a cover and bracket kit.

To those who carry a second battery, how do you? Anyone find a way to strap it to the bike (or is that a stupid idea)? What brand/model backpack do you use?

I’ve got a 22 liter osprey pack that I really like - it has a frame of sorts that stands the pack away from my back, great for warm warm weather - but if I’m going to carry a battery it means I’m taking a day-long ride and will be carrying clothing, food, plenty of water and would need a big pack.
