I don't know what this guy is talking about. I've always found social media comment sections to be great resources for information from level headed, intelligent people. Written with absolutely no bias or prejudice.

He seems to get a lot of bikes to review from manufacturers but likes to be critical of how a motor feels with the assumption everyone else will feel the same way if they were in his shoes, particularly the Avinox and Bosch CX-Race. I have an Avinox and spent a limited time on a CX-Race. I have a completely different experience, especially with the Avinox since I’ve been riding one for over 900 miles. I’m not sure how he gets so many EMTB to test but I find his perspective somewhat warped at times.
DJI has been known to seed forums, subreddits, etc. regarding their drones and cameras. Why would we expect different from their MTB division?

Alex ....... Avinox motors are getting attention because their owners love the way they perform. I am a better rider because of the Avinox Motor System.
Having ridden all the major motor manufacturers. Only 18 months ago, the Shimano EP801 with the firmware upgrade was my absolute favourite. But the Avinox System slays this motor. I will update my EMTB every 12-18 months and I couldn't care less who the manufacturer is. But the only absolute must have, will be it must have the Avinox Motor System installed. They are a game changer.

I work at a shop and basically get a new ebike every 10-12 months. Just came off the latest Gen Bosch in my 2025 Orbea Wild and now riding a DruidE with the Avinox. I’m not going lie, I don’t really care if my next ebike has a Bosch or Avinox. I never really ride in the top power mode on my DruidE because it drains the battery so fast.
Ironically I have a new DreadnoughtE coming next month. I would take either system if the bike was a great design.

Christ, is he still around? Last year he was pushing the “DJI is going to get a power nerf” theory really hard when there was no evidence of any such nerf. Since then he’s produced a handful anti DJI propaganda claims. His content sucks. It’s probably rage bait for views/interaction.

I tried to watch a few of this guys videos, but his entire vibe was so bad, I couldn’t stomach it. I guess he is mad Amflow didnt send him a bike to test, or is he against all the higher power motors?
I like that he goes full downhill Leatt protection riding a blue flow trail

. I completely agree that it's very likely algorithms are being manipulated for propaganda reasons but I doubt very much it is only dji. Bosch reputation is far from clean as an example and I had some serious issues when trying to deal with them. Their reliability was pretty good for sure although I gave had two replacement motors and now a 3rd dead one sitting idle and out of action. Currently I am on a forbidden druid and 1900 kms of Rotorua magic gas so far only destroyed chains and brake pads. Very happy with avinox thus far

600wh and 800wh, for 2026 Forbidden dropped the Lite bikes. Now your dealer had the option to just pick 600wh or 800wh batteries when placing their booking.
