Lol, yep. I am very fortunate I have a nice lineup of bikes. And it wasn’t really a bad experience because I had a friends decoy to help narrow down what was broken. Without his bike, it would have been much more difficult.

nice! i sold my 350 in march thinking i’d be a sneaky capitalist and move to a 2 stroke on the cheap seeing as how it’s a global pandemic and the economy tanked... well, turns out it’s the strongest used/new dirt bike market in last 20 years!! old bikes are going for ridiculous prices! ridiculous... i guess i know where all those government checks are going!!!! dealers are not moving a millimeter in price! so now i’m stuck with no bike maybe i just need to wait until the ppp expires??

Found the culprit. Swapped on my friends shimano di2 cable that connects the display and everything is up and running again. Just to verify, I tried my cable on his bike and he also got the black screen of death. Should be able to find one online and have my bike back together by mid week.

I don’t know how or why this failed though. Visually there is no damage. Any electrical savy guys know some possible causes of failure and how it could go from working to broken seemingly randomly?

Hey! I know this is a long time ago but think I have the same issue. I just wonder if you have a part number for this? I see 900mm and 1200mm but that seems a bit extreme. Thanks!!
