Hey All,

I am inspired by all the E10 posts to try and build one myself. This will be my first bike ever bike build and im looking for component recommendations.

Frame:
- XL Dengfu E10 with M600 and 840wh battery - Received

Wheels:
- 29er DT Swiss HX1700 30mm - Received
- Whats the max tire size i can fit on this bike?

Dropper:
- PNW Loam dropper and dropper lever - Received

Suspension:
- Do i want 160 or 170 in the front?
- The rear shock should be 215x55?
- Im a big guy, 6'5" 290lgs, is a higher end suspension better for larger guys?

Drive Train:
- What is everyone using, and how well is it working out?

Brakes:
- What is everyone using, and how well is it working out?

thanks in advance!

2.8 is the maximum with CushCore, 3.0 in the mud will be like a pain in the ass

Does anyone know if a 170mm dropper post will fit slammed into a medium (17.5) E10 frame?

La de OneUp sí. Debes de medir al menos170 cms. Yo la llevo de 150 mm y 2/2,5 cm por encima de la abrazadera de la tija

i have not measured the exact travel (not important for me). i could say more than 150 :)

inconvenient: you need to reduce width of link

Advantage for me (but inconvenient for someothers) i increase hight of BB, i can use 27.5 rear and 29 front (in 160 travel) without too modified factory geometry (angles) and i don't need reduced cranck arms.

Note that the fork is 29" 2 cm higher than 27.5". It is necessary to take into account the clearance so that it does not become too high. I put myself a 160 mm fork and wheels 27.5x2.8. This is the same in diameter as 29x2.3. I got a classic clearance of 34.3 cm.

27.5x2.8 or 29x2.6. 2,6
Thanks, I know recommended sizes. For the front wheel, 29x2.8 shouldn't be a problem, it depends on a fork, mine is 29er lyrik. I am curious whether someone tried 29x2.8 on the back.

I have an E09 frame right now, E10 is on the way. It won't fit on E09. Most likely, it won't fit on E10 either. For this reason, I chose 27.5x2.8.

Hi Guys, I would like to buy two frames, but will the frame fit 29x2.4 wheel at back?
I am bit afraid about the GEO, mainly seat tube angle, which is just 74,5? how the bigger rear wheel would affect the effective ST angle?
I would like to run it with 160 or 170 fork.
thank you

thank you do you know, if the 29x2,4 in rear would fit?
Check the diameter of the wheels 27.5x2.8 and 29x2.4. These two sizes are approximately the same in height. I can't figure out what wheel width Rob has installed on ver.2.0.

Thank you, I will try it

I put my front wheel which is 29 x 2.6 (Maxxis Assegai) in the rear just to measure. There’s 4 to 5 mm clearance.
