Hi Folks, the mandatory 15.5mph motor cut out is just a tad too slow imo. Has anyone derestricted/tweaked the motor cutout threshold? If so, I'd be interested in the preferred method - has anyone tried moving the rear sensor to near the cranks to fool the system?

I'm aware that this will of course up the battery consumption, but ideally the cutout should be 18-20mph in order to maintain good progress on the flats....

What bike you got? I think a friend did this on a mark 1 levo, but was ages ago so not sure. I have a bosch motor and use the badass widget which slides over the rear sensor on my frame.

You have quite a few options
Depends whether you want to fit a chip, chainstay mounted sensor box or use an App.
All will work. some may require a firmware downgrade.

Shimano updated firmware so that will now throw up an error and shut down your motor.
