Darfon makes Shimano batteries

I've read that Darfon make the batteries that go into Shimano, Panasionic and they also joined with astro tech frame maker. I'm curious if Darfon make own brand like for like direct swap shimano batteries I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell from their site darfon.com

Would be interesting to see if it could be a cheaper alternative to purchasing from shimano.

Looks like there may be an E8035 (internal 504wh) equivalent if you select emtb from the drop down and look at the bottom battery. Model E4C0C.

Even says its compatible with Shimano!

From what i can see, the plug does not fit Shimano
