Hi all, Could anyone enlighten me on how to get cable routing access, I couldn't see a way past the battery cage/holder/frame/thingy. I read through the entire Cube 177 thread, all 27 pages or so, in the hope somebody else was as dense as me :ROFLMAO:

I was replacing brakes and derailleur housing on my One77. I managed to route brake cable using cable kit similar to the Park Tool IR-1.3 Intl Cable Routing Kit. However, while routing derailleur housing, connection broke behind the battery. I ended up taking bike to service center, and re-routing housing required removing motor, battery rail, and of course those awful headsets.
Cable routing on Cube is very mediocre; other companies do it better, but Cube has other advantages :)

Thanks Coolbike, I was hoping for you to say, yeah it's so easy, all you have to do is.......but was really expecting you to say exactly as you did, therefore not disappointed lol
I just need to prepare my bike for the y cable, was hoping to do it myself 🤷🏽‍♂️

Its easy, remove the battery, undo the 2 screws holding the lock in then undo the 2 bolts at the bottom holding the battery bracket in and 1 holding the top peice in. You then get access to the cable routing.

Thanks, was going to do it that way, ended up heat shrinking the y cable to the existing cable and dropped the motor out and pulled it through, worked a treat.
