Crazy question perhaps: can I use a Bosch Kiox Control Unit with a Bosch Purion?

The reason is that I would prefer to have the Purion near the centre of the bars but have the control unit on the left hand side as now. So if I bought a Bosch Kiox Control unit (pictured below) could I connect it to the Purion? Happy to butcher and solder, but don't know if it's possible and if so what wires should be connected. Happy to use the Control Unit only to change assistance level. TIA.

Of course, could install a Bosch Kiox Retrofit kit but that's a lot more money and in addition requires a software upgrade.

Gave up with this idea and bought a Kiox Retrofit kit.
