Hey everyone,

Im completely new to the EMTB scene and the Ebike scene all together. Im so new at this I dont even have an Ebike yet. I do however, have many many questions before I throw down that kind of cash though.

I have a really cool wife that pretty much lets me indulge in any hobby and when I spoke to her about it she said, "do lots of research and buy the best one for your needs, I dont want to hear about a better one in a month!"

So here I am.

I have a dream of kayaking a certain lake that is only accessible by a narrow 12 mile mountain trail, thus i need a powerful bike that can carry enough charge to go long distances. Speed isnt as huge a factor as range, but a little pep in the step is appreciated! Money isn't a big obstacle, although trying to convince her to let me spend $10,000+ may be a little on the difficult end. I have been looking over the past several days and have three on my mind but after surfing this forum a little I have run across so many that I havent heard of so perhaps I should let some of the more informed help with the decision.

1) Rambo Rampage 1000W Xtreme Performance- it has a kayak trailer that I know will fit the bike
2)Rungu Dualie XR Steep (or Rubicon) Im pretty sure I could modify to have the Rambo kayak trailer fit and that range cant be beat!
3)Luna SUR RON X BIKE- I know its technically an emotorcycle pretending to be an EMTB but i like it and it has a lot of aftermarket parts

I would also like to know what kind of set up would be best (especially the SUR RON) to maximize the potential of these bikes or any that are suggested.

These may not even qualify as EMTB, as I said, I really dont know what Im talking about yet. I welcome and and all advice you can give! Thanks
