I have good experience with both e-Thirteen and RaceFace.
Aluminium is good for light weight, more expensive, but on e-mtb I personally am more in favour of steel for longevity, since weight is less relevant.
There are various types of steel. Cheap chainrings are standard steel, but if you do some diggin' you'll find variants in steel 4040 which are stronger, and steel 4140 CrMO (Chromology) which is an even harder alloy.
Might be worth taking into account, depending what you're after; price vs longevity.
I currently have the RaceFace RR21BG4DM5234TSHI12BLK (steel CrMo) on my Bosch gen4. Done 3800 kms, no visible wear yet. Reasonable price €30.
For non-emtb RaceFace has best of both worlds (light & durable) Era chainring, base aluminium, carbon fiber spider and stainless steel teeth ring; $149
