Cons? I just started. Pretty simple to do, very quiet and I have no doubt my cassette will last longer going into the dry time of the year. Grab two chains and rotate them.

I’m waxing this year. Based on everything I’ve read, I’ll have useful feedback around 5000km, which should be… next summer?

I will say that the chain still feels great a month into the experiment. It is a bit of work though. Doing sous-vide style with silca wax.
