Can I run a 170mm AXS dropper in a Medium Santa Cruz Bullet?

I'm unable to slam a 170mm Fox Transfer in my XL Bullit. Hoping I can slam a AXS 170mm.

Of course you can.

You might not be able to reach the pedals though...

You need to get the tape measure out; with the post at the right height and fully extended measure the distance from the top of the seat clamp to the bottom of the seat rails. That's what you need to replicate with the 170 post. You then need to measure max insertion depth of the 150 post. Once you have that you can subtract the insertion depth from the overall length of the 170 post. If it's less than the first measurement you took you're all good.
