Can 2019 PF 7 go mullet or do we have to change forks

I have a friend with a 2019 PF 7 that wants to install a 29" on the front. I know they are slightly larger diameter than the 27.5+" so does anyone know if it will fit without replacing the fork. I think he wants a 2.5" x 29" on the front. Thanks

Worked for mine. Came factory with 29 fork. Look on back of fork , may be the case for you also

OK, yes with Fox their 27 1/2+ fork is also a 29. I'll tell my friend to check. Thanks

Just a quick update on this. My friend bought the 30mm 29" wheel for his Trek and it fit perfectly.
