Hi all,
Looking for a bit of help with a rear shock issue....
Just bought a rockshox super deluxe rc3 air shock for my 2019 levo...got a good deal on a brand new one from eBay at £200. The length is fine at 210 x55 but issue is the mounting hardware. I’ve attached a few photos....as you can see the mount width on the bottom of the shock is way too wide for the levo yoke. Also the bushings on the top end are slightly too wide. I’m thinking to the top might not be an issue as I could probably change the bushings but I have no idea about the bottom part? It is removable so I’m wondering if I this can be replaced with a borrowing mounting kit?

Has anyone else had this problem with the super delux and is there a solution. Otherwise I may have bought a lemon! ?

Any help would be appreciate! ?

Correction to previous note...should read “wondering whether this can be replaced with a narrower mounting kit”. Bloody auto correct! ?

For the bottom, looking at the RockShox spare parts catalogue shows you have a type 2b damper body and need a type 2a. That's a full damper rebuild plus the spare part (11.4118.048.008) plus fitting hardware to suit the Levo afterwards. Send it to a suspension specialist and they'll fix it but as it is brand new you should maybe see if you can get the standard eyelet version at a good price and sell this one on.

Lovely...many thanks for your help. I’ll speak to TF tuned and see what the damage is cost wise ?

TF are brilliant. Also worth talking to Fin at Full Factory Suspension. He loves to manufacture custom mounting hardware.
