Rail 2020 9.9 XL, carbon wheels, tubless since the beginning (Stan's liquid), I broken 4 rear wheel rays (at nipple level) in the last 2 runs....
After that, tired to repair single reay everytime, I decided to change all nipples (now silver ALU) and rays, increasing ray section.
I weight 90kg... I wonder if that issue was due to corrosive liquid ... or biker's weight.
I didn''t do anything different in the last runs... no jumps, no bike park, just good strong all mountains' trails, as usual.

did you get a similar issue?

Not carbon wheels but had the same issue with the Bontrager Line Comp 30s on my Rail 9.8 and I only weigh 75kg. Another riding buddy had the same issue with the same wheelset on a Slash 8 though he is closer to 120kg. I replaced them with a set of Light Bicycle EN933 carbon rims on DT Swiss 350 hubs. Haven't looked back, the extra lateral stiffness of the carbon rims is really noticeable on a heavy bike like the Rail.

Alloy nipples have a habit of chewing and rounding off. Make use you lubed them well. I know brass is a heck of a lot of weight, but that are considerably more robust.
