Broken frame on giant reign e+0 MX pro 2023, what you think.

Hello riders.

I want to here you opinion. I bought bike 5 months ago. Two weeks ago i broke crankset and i saw broken frame too.

I am second owner of bike, i have origina invoice of bike which was bought on April 2024. Do you think that i can as second owner get new frame?

im not sure on Giants warranty regarding second owners but this crack is a problem so they are definately worth a shout anyway

Very common issue on some 2022 frames.

2 years warranty on the frame for second owner, but the bike need to be registered by the original owner.

2. Second Owner warranty will only be valid if the original owner registered the bicycle within 90 days of the original purchase date.

So was the bicycle registered by the original owner as above?

I was talking with Giant shops and they said that isn't any difference if bike is registered on there website or not also there should't be any difference it i am second owner. I just need to have original invoice which i have.

I will see today what they say...

Was a huge issue on Reigns from 2022 & 2023. Giant will know it’s a defective frame. Should replace it no questions asked.

It happened to me. 2022 E + 2. I’m in California I took it to the shop Giant replaced it within 2 week and covered half the cost to build it back up. No questions asked.

When i land with the bike on jump. I really don't know how that could happen... But i am not buying carbon crankset ever again
