Bosch CX Gen 5 - creak / groan when winching up steeps

To be clear, the creaks / groans are coming from the bike (the ones coming from me aren’t fixable).

I’m a big human (6’4” x 250lbs) and whenever I get into a high torque situation the bike starts to complain loudly. I’m on a 2025/2026 norco sight CX with a gen 5 but dealt with similar noises on my previous gen 4 bike (pole voima). Given the similarities I’m starting to fear I’ve just exceeded the Bosch design specs and there’s some kind of unfixable internal issue, but hopefully not.

Will upload a video soon, but if there’s anyone here who’s encountered this and sorted it out I’d love to know.

high torque with a 12 speed derailleur and up to 120nm motor torque/600% assist? Maybe try tunin whatever modes you are using and slect lower gears?

With your bodyweight of over 113kg and the bike weight of about 22kg you are exceeding the total bike weight limit of 120kg. Unsurprising if the frame is protesting.
