Beware of update!

Chain tensioner doesn't bother me.
Honestly rarely hear as I'm focus on the tails I ride that are very difficult at times. I like that I have instant drive when I pedal when it is engaged. My 2 cents

For climbing, I use eMTB+ mode with +10 Extended Boost and a chain tensioner is excellent for instant engagement. For descending, I use Turbo mode with no Extended Boost, and there is no chain tensioner. Everything works fine
So no chain tensioning in turbo?

It's really good for the harder techy style climbs, or absolute power out of corners etc.
I will use it for the racing during summer.

I Dont normally have MTB+ in my custom modes as it surges alot, but will do for the racing times.
If you dont like it, dont use EMTB.. seems pretty simple?
After messing about yesterday with modes, I think this pretty much sums it up.

I assume these updates you have to perform rather than being automatic ? I've got the Rail with the non-digital display and have only connected it once to the Flow app, so have no idea what versions of FW etc i've got . But i don't see any reason i'd update it myself based upon this.

Yes, you have to actually go to the app and download the update. But, that means you probably haven't done the previous update, which increases the torque?
