Levo Gen 2 Best driver replacement? Specialized Bear Pawls broke at 500miles

My Turbo Levo (base) driver spins in both directions. The shop said it must have broken (hasn't looked inside yet and can't for two weeks). They think I should go XD, I read here that's not as strong as the base SRAM NX with Shimano-style hub.
I'm gonna do it myself or another shop.

What's the strongest Shimano-style driver replacement?

I would replace rear hub with this - DT Swiss 240 eMTB rear hub 32h: H240TDDSR32SA4182S

Hold up - it appears Levo rear hub is 28h - not 32h (yet SL is 32h?!?!).
Would need a new rim as well (HX531 or FR560)...

Thanks - Update: LBS says it was actually the hub, not the driver, that stripped. They seemed surprised and said this should be a warranty item. THey need to replace the hub and rebuild the wheel. The driver may be ok. Oy. I may ask to upgrade the hub if possible.
