Battery locked in Cube Reaction hybrid

Hello guys,

I have received new Cubes reaction hybrid for me and my wife and I removed the battery and then inserted it back but now its stuck and I cant turn the lock anymore, I can turn it like 60 degrees but not more.

When I was inserting the battery I didnt turn the key I just pushed it in maybe with some force and it worked then I took out the key not remember if I had to turn the lock afterwords.
Weird is that it happened with both bikes.
Did I make a mistake?

I had a Cube Reaction. When removing the battery I had to insert a slotted screwdriver over the latch at the same time as turning the key to help remove it as it was such a tight fit. Try that maybe

I need to turn the key to insert the battery, so you may have broken the lock if you forced it.

Have you pressed the catch at the top of the battery....
When you turn the key the battery should drop down a little bit and then you press the catch on the top face of the battery to release it

I have to turn the key on my Cube to fit the battery.

On the cubes you turn the key and the battery drops abut 10mm then there is a catch at the top of the battery to press to release it the rest of the way
