Hey guys. Just got my Vitus E Sommet Deore this week. I have a campervan with rear carrier andIdeally I was planning to transport he bike on he back with the battery removed. Reduced weight on the rack and keeps battery safe and warm in the cab. However the three metal connection pins on the frame mounting plate are exposed. What do you guys do (if anything) to protect those from rain and road grime etc?? Looks like Bosch do a pin cover for exactly this purpose but can’t find a Shimano equivalent. Any tips or incentive ideas appreciated? At the mo I’m thinking just put a shower cap round the area. Cheers, Fraz

I have one of these for mine, does exactly what you want.

Yes it’s a good fit - it’s neoprene so not sure how it would cope in a downpour, I use it when storing the bike in my unheated garage at low temps and also when transporting the bike. If you where transporting the bike on a rack in proper rain I would look at using something like disposable rubber gloves under it
