Update and notes.
So I brought this box and it stopped working on a ride a while back. Hadn't missed it to be honest until lately. My last 5K is on a hardpacked (private land obviously!!!) but hitting the 25KPH limit was a pain. Before I sent it back I read the website again. They gave instructions on the magnet set up. It still didn't work on the next few placements. I persevered on magnet placement. Doing exactly what it said, start 2cms out and work in 2mm each time. BINGO all works fine.
In summary, it is very important to get the magnet placement perfect.
My gearing doesn't allow for excessive speed anyway on the 2019 Trance E+ Pro 3. But it made a hell of a difference not hitting the barrrier and allowing you to peddle perhaps 2kph faster and smoother. Although the battery ave usage was 20% for 9K and I normally get 12K for 20% battery. But again I did spank it up the hills etc!!
