BadassBox 5 Bosch Rim 37 (rim magnet/smart system)

First of all apologies for starting another thread, I asked this question on the main thread but didn't get a response so maybe it went unnoticed.

Has anyone any experience of the BadassBox 5? I would like to tune my Emtb as when I get faster than the restricted speed I find there is quite a bit of drag on the motor, the Badass appeals as it doesn't require major fitting and I don't really want to drop the motor down to fit any other kit.
My bike is a Scott Patron 920 and the Bosch CX motor is swung up between the frame to allow a bigger battery compartment so I'm unsure if this would make fitting any more difficult. It has the rim/tyre magnet and smart system

Any information and experience on the Badass 5 would be greatly appreciated.

I certainly don’t want to “brick” the motor so I’ll hold off ordering, hopefully someone is working on a decent way round the smart system and rim magnet.

There is no solution on the market yet that would guarantee that you will not get an error. Maybe in future.

Not looking to ride above the limit for extended periods, if that's what causes the issues

Badassbox 5 installed, and works without problems so far. I uninstalled the ebikeflow app and removed the phone's Bluetooth pairing with the bike. Gen5 Performance line

Only 150km just driven with the box. The top speed has been 48km/h on a flat surface. However, I mainly ride trails and the speeds remain in the moderate range of 12-35km/h. And I vary the level of assistance. Mainly emtb mode. Driving is a lot more fun than before. No problems or errors so far.

probably yes even in this version it can throw errors

I even use bosch flow app on every ride and updated the software to get the EMTB+. I really think this is the only tune that really works (tried speedbox before). And installation is super easy!

Nope, smart system gen 4. Will likely update my bike to gen 5 version in near future and will update to new badass box too.
