Back-up battery

Any thoughts on a back up battery for a 2018 Powerfly 9 (half in tube battery type). I know I could carry a spare 500w battery, but heavy !! Ideally a 250w version would be good. It doesn’t look as if Trail watts will produce anything suitable, is there anyone doing something similar ??

I think the battery is a ordinary Bosch Power Pack - you can get that in a 300, 400 and a 500Wh version - but as you can see in the link the weight is almost the same, only thing better with the 300Wh version is properly the price. The eBike battery: long range, low weight, easy to charge

I have 400/500 and I think the 400 is significantly lighter than the 500 (maybe because I am an office working weakling)- the bike even feels lighter when picking it up with the 400 in- so the 300 should be feather-weight.

Its all good until I have swap the 400 for the 500 in my bac pack - there is a big difference when you are half knackered - the 500 feels like it is lead lined!

I am beginning to think a 300/400 would be the ideal set up!

According to Bosch the 500 is 100g heavier than the 400.
