Levo Gen 2 Back Pedalling Resistance/Binding

I have a 2019 Turbo Levo and when cleaning the bike today I noticed that when back pedalling there is more resistance than usual. Previously there is little or no resistance but now it feels as if it's binding. Has anybody else had this problem and if so what was the fix?

New motor.

Took it to my LBS. They examined the bike and spoke to Specialized and a new motor it is....
