I have had 2.35x29" Rock Razor at the back. It fits, but no bigger than that.

I have also had 3.0x27.5" Fat Freddie front and back. That also fits, but no bigger than that.

@-W- when you say no bigger than that is to keep a bit of clearance or the clearance is already gone? 2.4 fit although it’s be 1mm near the frame?

This is my Spectral:On with 29" wheels on it. The tyre is a 29" Maxxis Ardent Race and as you can see the clearance is small so I don't think it would take a more aggressive tyre like a Minion DHR.
