Anyone lost a Kiox?

I have a Kiox mounted on the stem just secured with the magnets. .
Has anyone had problems with them coming off when riding?

Not so far, but only had it for 200 miles or so. It seems pretty well secured, I have to use a knife to prise it off when I want to remove it.

I knocked one off when heaving a bike over a stile. It's a shame they're black, as not very easy to spot amongst long grass, cow pats etc.

I'd attach a cord to the little clip and tie it on, so it dangles when detached.

Yes, I touched a tree with the handlebar and the Kiox flew away in the woods. It took me 15 minutes to find it

Since then I secured it with a small cord.

Not yet. I’ve been in some falls. Question, rather than secure it with a cord, why not just mount it permanently with a screw in the back. They do have provision for this
