anyone installed L&M seca 1800 ebike light on Trek rail or Bosch?

Has anyone installed the light and motion seca 1800 ebike light on their trek rail or Bosch performance cx bike?

dealer is installing it and texted me:
“So far I have tried it a couple times at different voltage output from the battery and every time I turn it on the light turns on then shuts off and the computer reads a “550 error””

Is the current draw of the light too much for the bike?

Turns out the light draws 1.9A and the bike can only supply 1.5A at 12v.

Just ordered one for my gen 3 levo. Got a great deal at $77 from am amazon retailer. My only qualm is that you can’t turn it off. Might rig up some sort of switch, we’ll see.
