I would like to hook my phone up to the power cable that is tucked into the top tube for lights/power. Has anyone connected a usbc connector to it, and if so will the 6v option be ok? It is supposed to be 5v so if it is too much I could use a voltage converter/zener diode to go from 6 to 5 with out much trouble.

Take a look at page 21 of the stickied service manual. The output is 12v so you'd need a converter to USB-C. Secondly the light output needs to be enabled via software only available to shops.

For anyone wondering how, I just got a car usbc power converter(the smallest one I could find) and I soldered the input to the 12v/cig lighter side of the converter. I cut the cable coming out and used the thicker red wire and the bare silver and connected back to the red/black wire that is already in the bike. I have a small light below my bars and my phone above it, so I soldered two usbc connectors on the same wire and they now plug right into my phone and light.
