wondering if there are performance gains to be made
contemplating changing to the Uberbike Hose
Not the same brand but I changed to braided on my Hope V4s. One thing to be careful of is where the pipe needs to be routed as they are usually slightly thicker. I ended up not being able to fit to my Kenevo at the rear as not enough gap to pass the motor.

Also they are supposed to improve feel (as the pipes cant expand) rather than add power but to be honest I cant tell any difference between my front with and my rear without.

10 years ago I had some fitted to a Honda Fireblade and you could tell the difference, but forces are much higher!

I upgraded my Formula Cura brakes to braided hoses about 20 years ago. Looked cool, but didn't make the slightest bit of difference.

The brakes were good before, they were good afterwards.

Common upgrade on motorbikes - did mine as well. Not sure it would improve mediocre MTB brakes, better off changing the actual brakes.

The only brake lines ive ever had split on me were magura, twice.
I wouldn't change the stock Shimano lines.

I hear what you're saying.
I ran Saint levers and Zee calipers on previous bikes

if that final power squeeze was expanding the hose a tidge and I could get the
calipers to feel a bit more like the old mono blocks by going to stiffer hose...
I like the 'servowave' feel and never thought ooh I need more modulation.

I shall keep looking for some reasonably priced Zee calipers...

but if anybody has tried SS Braided Hose on Shimano let me know your thoughts please - Ta
