KMC e11 works well for me, seems to be a bit tougher than the Shimano ones (not that I've had trouble with the shimanos)

Google
SRAM PC 1130 Pin 11 Speed Chain Silver 120 Link with PowerLock

You could try missing off the "with powerlock" bit if you fee its too restrictive.

You will get lots to choose from. This is the chain I have on my Focus and its doing well. Running on Shimano kit without a problem.

I just buy the cheapest chains I can find for whatever speed Im using at the time.. The rate these ebikes go though them its pointless getting spendy spendy on a consumable part

The SHIMANO chain on my jam has split on one of the outer plates along with the standard ( it seems ) Novatec freehub / bearing race issues. Only done 750 miles , chain always cleaned and lubed and checked for the well documented freehub problems , thought all ok until a grinding noise occurred.
Anyway I spent too much time looking at various options and decided on the KMC e bike chain. Along with upgrading the Novatec axle and freehub body. Merlin cycles have some good deals on KMC e bike chains.

What rear hub do you have? I'm using a d162 and find that using a wet lube on the pawls and ratchet ring better than grease for keeping the insides working as they should. I do check it weekly but only ever need to add a little lube maybe once a month or so. I also prise the bearing seals off and refill with new grease every couple of months or so and (touch wood) haven't had any issues with it for the past year....i did do a hub swap from the d142 it came with as that was dogshit.

Yeah.. Apologies... Thats exactly what I ACTUALLY did haha... I changed from a 162 to a 462 for that very reason. Forgive the braindeadness(is that even a word ?) I'm supposed to asleep as I'm due at work for 0200?

? no worries , it seems to be a common problem with these free hubs . Let’s hope this upgrade sorts the problem ( for now ) I might start saving for some Hunt wheels ? Happy riding.
