Another 'sort of' tubeless question

Hi all, I used to use the Maxxis High Rollers on my analogue and have bought a pair of High Roller II silkshield ebike tyres for the eeb (they were cheap so couldn't pass them up lol). I know these tyres are not listed as tubeless ready and I'd have no drama in running tubes, but wondered if anyone has tried them and tried setting them up tubeless.

Cheers,

Ga

Unless the tyres are so thin that you can see through the sidewalls, I would put money on that you could set them up tubeless. The sealant will sort out any porosity. You may have to over pressurise after first set up and lay the wheel on a bucket for 30 mins per side to force the sealant into any pores in the sidewalls. You may need a high-volume inflator to set the beads onto the rim; something like the Airshot would do the job.

Edit: I have just Googled that tyre and I withdraw my reservations; I have no doubt at all that they will set up tubeless.
